Bookmarks for Kids

BOOKS are human’s best friend and reading is one the best habit.

Though every parent wishes to start reading to kids as early as 6 months old, in the hope they will develop a habit. So did I.

But honestly, once they start getting distracted with outer world and start enjoying toys & friends more, it becomes difficult to continue the reading habit. Ofcourse some kids are born reader.

So encouraging a child to make BOOKMARKS and keep them in the books they read might be helpful in bringing back the interest in books.

Minion Bookmark

Who wouldn’t love a cute minion bookmark with googly eyes!

And this one is a recycled one, I don’t even remember from what I made this, but it was just a 5-minute craft. It’s always nice and fun to recycle otherwise waste stuff. Any cloth tag or cereal box can be used by just coloring or sticking paper on it.

  • Cut a chartpaper/ cardboard/cereal box/cloth tag in rectangular shape
  • Color it
  • Adding the googly eyes gives extra fun to simple minion bookmark. Even kids can make it on their own.

  • For the thread, you can use ribbon or lace or simply recycle any rakhi or jwellery thread.
