BIRTHDAYS are special occasions for both the parents and the kids. It’s emotional and over-whelming at the same time to see the tiny humans we created grow out of our lap so fast! It’s amazing to see the baby I made, growing up to be an independent individual.

Just A few days before, this boy was cuddling in my arms and would just spread few smiles carelessly here and there. I would sit still for hours so he can complete his beautiful sleep and wake up all fresh. How much I loved his cooing and nibbling on my chin! How only I would understand the meaning of broken syllables and sounds!

How much I love sniffing his hair! How much I love wrapping him in my arms!! And now you are growing out of my arms.. BOY. Love you to the moon and back.

Rainbow Birthday Party
Rainbow Themed Birthday Party

So, We recently completed 4 years of our parenthood. whoaaa…time flies.. isn’t it!! So to make our 4th birthday celebrations more memorable, we decided on throwing a RAINBOW THEME BIRTHDAY PARTY, since now he understand the meaning of birthday party and has a guest list to be invited.

The birthday boy helped in the balloon decoration and coloring the paper Cloud, with his name on it, in Rainbow colors, wrapping return gifts and sticking Thank you Labels on return gifts.

See few pics of our party arrangements and themed house party decor here RAINBOW THEMED BIRTHDAY PARTY.

The whole b’day party decor was a DIY project by me. Decorating the house with rainbow colors with The different types of balloon rainbows – the horizontal rainbow with pipe balloons and a semi-circle rainbow with round balloons. Making a white paper cloud with hanging colorful rainbow strips stuck on the wall, was so much fun.

The birthday party invites on rainbow theme were designed by me. The invite I used and few more designs are available for FREE DOWNLOAD.

There were colorful rainbow fruits, rainbow chocolate cake (beautiful and mouth watering) and pretty multi-colored M&Ms (gems) as rainbow seeds.

I already had few colorful bowls, cups and cutlery, so just used them and kids loved choosing their favorite color of bowl to eat.. interesting way to encourage them to choose and eat.

The other rainbow themed birthday party decor used to set-up the table with the theme, like food tags, heart decors, and thank you cards are available for FREE download below.

Rainbow Food page has tags for Rainbow Fruits, Rainbow Cake, Rainbow Seeds.

Use colorful fruits, finger food, colored pasta, sandwiches, cupcakes, M&Ms, any kind of colorful food will be loved by kids. And they will relish the food more since they love colors and rainbow and it is The Party Theme!!

The rainbow hearts of different sizes can be hung or stuck on walls/doors etc. singly or in a chain pattern. The rainbow tags can be used for labeling the return favors or game prizes.

The party was pretty much and my son had blast with his friends. They loved the rainbow colored balloons and the rainbow chocolate cake was the highlight of the party.

Few fights for unreasonable reasons is inevitable where toddlers are concerned, so we moms are mostly prepared for contingency situations.
